About this deal

I found other wrap style slings really tricky to put on but the Caboo is more structured and much easier to wear. The Lite option is the entry-level Caboo which is thinner and has shorter straps – great for spring/summer, hot or petite people! This additional head support is really nice and helps this carrier be truly 'hands free' (so often you see parents with similar carriers cradling their baby's head as their carrier doesn't provide enough head support. With its range of carrying positions, the Caboo is a versatile way to carry your baby from birth to toddlerhood. This means it goes between parents with ease, giving you the perfect fits every single time without tying, fiddly clips or buckles to worry about.

It really does change your day completely from being quite sedentary to being mobile while feeling the closeness and warmth of baby. The Close Parent Caboo Lite is a sling with an additional supporting wrap that fits over the top of your baby to keep them supported. For small parcels we tend to use Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class and these are usually sent 'signed for'. The Caboo Lite is a streamlined carrier, made from cool, soft lightweight poly-cotton blend with added stretch for maximum closeness and support.

The Close Parent range of Caboo carriers hold your baby like a soft wrap baby carrier but with clever design features to make life a bit easier. The product is very stylish, you can choose from different colours and patterns, I have the ‘cloud’ colour, a perfect neutral colour, a green / blue muted pastel shade. It’s simply popped over your head like a t-shirt and easily adjusted by pulling the fabric through the rings for a perfect fit. Getting to grips with the Caboo Carrier takes a bit of practice, and the ring mechanisms tend to dig into my skin unless they’re positioned exactly right.

As a company, Close are constantly updating their fabrics and tweaking their design to give the best in comfort and ease of use. Of the Caboo’s five positions, Katie is already too big for the foetal hold, and she doesn’t like the inward-facing position either, seeming too restricted. The toggle fastening – a new feature for the Caboo – secures the wrap under your baby’s bottom for added support. But there's certainly no compromise on quality - the Lite range is currently our most popular and best selling selection in the range. I also worry about how secure she is, and feel like I have to keep retying the wrap to keep her well supported. The Caboo is ideal for wearing around the house, allowing me to get jobs done while keeping Katie close, and she likes feeling involved in what I’m doing. It consists of a harness-style sling that crosses over at the back and front and adjusts to fit a whole range of sizes by a simple ring mechanism. The soft, wide straps make it comfortable for you, while providing integral head support for your baby.

T - Tight - Slings and carriers should be tight enough to hug your baby close to you, as this will be most comfortable for you both.It holds your baby high up on your chest, which gives her a sense of security without restricting your movement, and provides lumbar support for you and your little one. Perfect for early newborn carrying and bonding, our Caboo range is one of the only high street carriers designed to be used from the moment your little one arrives. As with all stretchy slings, you’re unlikely to be using the Close Caboo as your only sling beyond 4-6 months. Caboo (meaning ‘to be close to someone’) is sizeless, tightening down to fit both baby and wearer exactly. The straps support your baby from their head to the base of their spine with excellent head and neck support and baby is held in the recommended ‘frog legged’ or ‘M’ position to fully support their developing hips and spine.
