About this deal

I’m just revisiting the “Naked” vinyl after watching the amazing 3 part documentary and I now look at this album in a whole new way whether it’s the original Phil Spector mix, Giles Martin remix or Paul’s “naked” version.

So hopefully at some point in your life you’ve heard “The Ecstasy of Gold” from Ennio Morricone’s unsurpassed soundtrack to The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, which is without question the greatest piece of movie soundtrack music ever composed. Some other tracks are certainly different performances, and Don't Let Me Down replaces Maggie Mae and Dig It. When I first saw the Let It Be film, I was stunned at how beautiful a song Long and Winding Road actually is with just The Beatles and Preston. The other thing that was frustrating about LIBN … and the LOVE soundtrack … was that they DID sound great.of course, for a couple of songs we already had some outstanding remixes on Let It Be…Naked – which was a complete misfire in so many ways, but did have exceptional sound quality. This makes for a much tighter tracklisting, especially with the opener being 'get Back' closing with 'Let it Be'.

It's the Beatles, about whom more words have probably been written/uttered than any other pop culture phenomenon. They also changed the mix so that more instruments were heard in that last repeated verse, to try and make it a little more interesting. Suggested alternate title: Get Back: The Let It Be Sessions, with the (originally intended) "updated" Please Please Me cover -eventually used on the "1967-1970" compilation (The Blue Album), which was Lennon's idea.Having said that, here I go, ignoring my own advice; the Let It Be sessions (which are just that), in whatever released form. The tracklisting on this version of Let It Be differs slightly from the original—there's no "Maggie Mae" or "Dig It", while "Don't Let Me Down" has been added. You do get some nice remixes of a couple of songs off the original album – these make the album worth owning.
