About this deal

Left to right: Revlon Berry Haute, Urban Decay Revolution Rapture, and Estée Lauder Matte Shameless Violet. Experience the perfect combination of luxury and sophistication with Revlon's Lipstick Super Lustrous in Cherries in the Snow. And if it’s worthy of the title “cult classic, then I MUST have one of them myself to see what all of the hype is about, right? If you're darker and looking for more of a true red, I would recommend a different shade that I'm going to be doing a review on very soon!

I had some people point out on my TikTok that the nail polish looks more red than the lipstick on me and I would probably agree.

Revlon Cherries in the Snow Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick has been around at least since the 50’s, from what I can find, which tells you something about it’s popularity and lasting power as an iconic lip shade. My mom got me Berry Haute, which is one of her favorite lipsticks, but I gave it back to her eventually because it was very close to MAC Up the Amp. To achieve more buildable coverage, use more dabbing motions to apply the color and press lips together to diffuse the color. All in all, I really think this shade is gorgeous and is worth trying, especially with the matching red nail polish that goes with it!

Anyway, I really, really recommend at least these three shades from Revlon, even though none of them turned out to look exactly the way I expected on my face, as I'll explain.

One of my favorite beauty blogs, Lipglossiping, wrote a post to that effect: “This isn’t a red lipstick and I’m sick of hearing it described as a blue-based red. The only colors I had looked great in were vampy burgundy and berry colors; however, those dark lip colors can be way too intense sometimes for casual or professional settings.
