For a similar description of the campagna see François Bally, Endémo-épidémie et météorologie de Rome. The assets of the company were redeemed the same year by André Morissette and David Neault, who formed Campagna Motors.Consonant with the trope of coming across ruined and abandoned villas and buildings is the larger sense that the campagna was considered to be uncharted territory.
