About this deal

I dont know if its the way i spray it or my preferences in general, but i only like this on other people and i prefer to only smell it very slightly, i do not get any mint, lavender or rosemary. The sea water accord is definitely there, but it seems to me like it's more of an olfactory trick than a direct presence of salty water. I see so much hype on this but to be honest even for summer this is disguisting to me, in air and on my skin. This was my first fragrance starting off my collection, definetely top 10 cheapest aquatic fragrances in the market right now and it was a gamechanger in the industry when it dropped. While the lavender in this is very very prominent without being spicy, kind of has a cooling effect to it.

I remember as a young teenager 6-7 years back I smelled cool water and thought it was this grown up fougere-y and green (though I didn't know what a fougere was at the time) fragrance and I didn't like it. Though alternatives exist, Davidoff Cool Water holds its own, a reflection of the man who wears it—vibrant, fresh, and timeless. A little goes a long way and it’s available in body spray deodorant which is true to the perfume and lasts all day with a similar dry down. Overall I came to the conclusion that this perfume doesn't work for me, it's outgoing but too sweet in a dirty, nauseous way. The final touch of musk is one of the details that make this eau de cologne a fragrance for everyday use that exceeds the expectations of a conventional eau de cologne, due to its durability intact on the skin throughout the day.

I am not a unisex fragrance lover; I love when a man wears a very masculine cologne, and this one has stood the test of time and always will (at least for me. I own over 40 fragrances and Cool Water is one of the easiest reaches in my wardrobe for a random pick-me-up. It's an okay fragrance for me personally, i don't have anything bad to say about it, an inexpensive fresh summer/spring scent, i do reach for it sometimes when i remember i have it. My first girlfriend, Jurassic Park in theaters, and the great cologne wars of Edna Hill Middle School. Its heart notes include sandalwood, jasmine, neroli, and geranium, while the base notes consist of musk, oakmoss, cedar, tobacco, and amber.

Check for an expiration date on the packaging, if available, to ensure the fragrance is still at its best.I don’t wear it by itself, I prefer to use “cool water” in combination with “urban feel” and the smell is amazing. Cool Water Man is part of the select group of world perfumery classics, which have achieved bestseller positions for years and that are truly cases of success up to now, thanks to the quality and emotional appeal they represent.

I can't comment on any of the newer batches however do recommend getting this as it is very affordable and a must have in any collection. It stands among the best, a fragrance that speaks of nostalgia and seduction, reminiscent of Green Irish Tweed by Creed with a hint of Armani's Acqua di Gio. I like it and use it for situations where I just want to smell good without impressing or causing turning heads.Objectively speaking, Cool Water is not a great fragrance due to its synthetic and low quality ingredients.
