About this deal

I asked four other people who know nothing about perfume, and they literally think that it's the same. I do smell the violet and rose but they are soft and snuggly inside the powder and do not overwhelm. Had this when it was released, loved it, then didn't have it until now, 30 years later because it was my mum's perfume. I’d wear this around my old boss or if I worked in retail and I didn’t want people to come close to me, like in a good way I guess.

The elegant and sophisticated scent was created by Kenzo Takada to give poppy flowers, which are in most cases scentless, a unique and one-of-a-kind aroma. To me, poppy has always borne a very special and distinctive smell, that is all, but with some other people it might just have worked/ might just be working differently. Unfortunately it became very trendy and I remember school kids trying to cover their body odour with with this and now that’s what it reminds me of. So my conscious nose was like okay, baby powder and flowery poo pourri, but my unconscious nose was like - noooo, run, poison fumes!

I live in Australia and I recently bought a 100ml bottle in Chemist Warehouse, only to find that my decade long signature perfume does not smell the way it used to. Some say it is outdated and y2k and yeah, it came out like 20 years ago, but I don't think it smells like the 2000's.Nice powdery notes, just don't wear during summer or you'll suffocate yourself and everyone around you lol. I’m not experienced enough to know what note I didn’t like but it was very bitter, maybe a chemical even. Flower is such a clean skin scent in my eyes, the florals come off faintly much like those lavender laced baby powders. Our 200-ml refill, La Ressource, is only compatible with the 15-ml and 100-ml bottles bearing the inscription refillable on the pack and under the bottle. The notes are composed of several flowers, such as vibrant Parma violet, rose, hawthorn, and jasmine.

The notes are composed of several flowers, such as vibrant Parma violet, rose, hawthorn and jasmine.I've had my bottle of flower by Kenzo for a few years now and I still can't decide if I love it or dislike it. The parfumier behind it apparently wanted to make the scent he imagined poppies (being scentless) would possibly have - and it's perfect. I also take Al -rehab red rose with me (it is a very cheap and good dupe for Kenzo Flower) in a roller, because it is small and it is really comfy to reapply. anyway i like this but i need to try it in cooler weather and i think it'd be a great bedtime scent.
