About this deal

As Tom says: 'It's impossible to stick to a diet if the food you're expected to eat is boring and doesn't fill you up. And as the title of my review suggests, you really can not tell that these are lower calorie meals from a flavour perspective and the portion sizes are more than adequate, which to me is essential if you are going to stick to more healthy eating.

Tom also uses some very creative ways of incorporating flavour to the dishes without the calories which is an incredible achievement to me, as Tom has managed to make Healthy Food Interesting, Enjoyable and keeps you feeling full through the day. Whilst all the fresh ingredients are easily available, there are a few sauces and pastes in here that may not immediately seem easily accessible. Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge has been developing top recipes for nearly three decades and knows how to make things taste good .Have recently purchased a few 'healthier' eating books and after trying a good few recipes out, this book (along with his Lose Weigh Get Fit) is in my opinion the best.

So I’ve developed lots of tasty and satisfying recipes that people will love to cook and eat, but that will also help them lose weight. The focus is on the food that we can and should be eating to lose weight, which is easy to make and won't make you feel as though you are missing out . In 2021 Tom launched the game-changing Full Time Meals campaign with Marcus Rashford and in 2022 he will be a judge on Great British Menu. I am a big lad, and do struggle with weight issues, saw the program on the telly and thought bang on, tasty looking dinners and no too hard to make, ok so it is the telly and obviously edits and whatever will make it seem easier than what it is but why no give it a go if it doesn’t work then back to a chippy tea, had the book for about three weeks and have made about 12/13 recipes. And at times just seem to be lower portion size versions of familiar dishes with one or two high calorie ingredients swapped out.I am currently trying to loose weight, and in few weeks in the journey I eventually grew bored of my own recipes. Now Tom is turning his attention to helping food-lovers who have chosen a low-calorie diet as their own route to weight-loss. It's hard to find low calorie diet books that cater to vegetarian diets as well, and then this book came along.

So I've developed lots of tasty and satisfying recipes that people will love to cook and eat, but that will also help them lose weight. Featuring ALL the recipes from his BBC2 TV series, Tom Kerridge shows how you can enjoy all your FAVOURITE FOODS and still LOSE WEIGHT with his LOWER-CALORIE DIET WITH A DIFFERENCE. I have certainly been guilty of snacking between meals until I started cooking Tom's Meals from this book. I've skimmed the kindle version i bought for a quick overview and like this very sensible approach to trying to lose weight but without sacrificing flavour, and still having a reasonable size portion. A lovely jolly down to earth approach from a man i knew little about, but who is a wonderful advert for his recipes and book. So far what I have made has been tasty and filling (lot of corgettes), but personally I find some of the recipes not complicated but fiddly, too many ingredients in some, but this is maybe because I am trying the recipes for the first time so I’m continually checking the page to see if I am doing it right, which with the one layer lasagne I obviously didn’t because the amount of liquid in the dish I had left in the dish, no no no no I definitely didn’t get that right no idea courgettes dripped out water.
